Hope for the Journey Conference (formerly known as the Empowered to Connect Conference) brings together proven, practical teaching and insight as well as everyday, hopeful wisdom—designed for parents and caregivers meeting the needs of children impacted by adoption and/or foster care. Structurally, the Hope for the Journey Conference will include modules based on the foundational principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®). With new faces, new stories, and new insight, the 2024 Hope for the Journey Conference will structurally mirror previous conferences with
high-level, more focused learning modules as well as opportunities to go deeper on select topics within each module topic. We will also hear from families and individuals impacted by adoption and/or
foster care.
* Participants will be provided a Certificate of Training for ~6 hours. Certificates can be submitted to individual licensing agencies for approval and credit (may count towards Foster Parent Re-licensing Training Hours). At this time, professional continuing education credits will not be provided.
